Virtual Tour of Living at Qingzhuhu

The first photo is an outside view of our lovely abode. The paint it beginning to peel because of 5 years of humidity, rain and hot weather since it was built around 2005. Despite the slightly decrepit exterior, the interior is not nearly as bad.The bathroom luckily has a western toilet and a semblance of a shower but gets pretty wet. The bedroom is cozy, plus we have all of our linens on just one bed to make it comfortable. Mattresses are the equivalent to a box spring. I was waking up every morning with sore muscles and joints. Now it is much better after layers of soft padding and comforters.

The next two photos are of the school. These are all the students out on the field for their morning exercise routine. And then the other photo is of the empty classroom while they are out there. There are about 50-60 desks crammed into every classroom, and they only have ceiling fans for air circulation.

The final few photos are of some adventures in Changsha. Some places cages their cats so they do not roam and get pregnant or impregate others. It’s actually kind of sad. They just sit there. The next is of an excited Jack, who found a Pepsi Maxx, a fav of his on his birthday dinner night in Changsha. And then there is the beautiful ferris wheel in downtown Changsha. I hope you enjoy this little tour!
